Landscape ReEnvisioned
Featuring the artwork of Debra Achen, Tony Bellaver, Adrienne Defendi, Charlotte Schmid-Maybach, Brian Taylor, and Vincent James Waring, Landscape ReEnvisioned showcases six artists who approach landscape photography through experimental techniques. Expanding upon traditional reflections of nature, each artist's work ranges from depictions of natural beauty to expressions of environmental activism. Shown together for the first time, this exhibition encourages a deeper appreciation of life's resiliency, presenting works that reflect both the beauty and the fragility of the natural world.

About the Curator
Helaine Glick is an independent curator and art writer. She is a former Assistant Curator at the Monterey Museum of Art in Monterey, where she worked for over fifteen years. There, she curated a wide range of exhibitions featuring works on paper, paintings, and photography, plus the major photography exhibitions, In Sharp Focus: The Legacy of Monterey Photography, and Bob Kolbrener—In Real Time.
She served on the Board of Trustees at Center for Photographic Art in Carmel for two consecutive terms, chaired its Programs Committee, and curated four exhibitions for them. In addition to the Center for Photographic Art in Carmel, she has curated exhibitions for the Sonoma Valley Museum of Art, Sonoma, the New Museum Los Gatos (NUMU), Los Gatos, the Monterey Museum of Art, Monterey, and the Winfield Gallery in Carmel. She has also worked independently with a variety of artists, and has authored numerous artist brochures, artist books, and exhibition catalog essays.
