Harvesting California: From the WPA Era to the Present illuminates the enduring influence of agriculture on the Golden State's artistic expression. Drawn from the Museum's permanent collection, this exhibition celebrates the toil and triumphs of Depression-era farmworkers and the ever-evolving agricultural landscapes of the present day. Harvesting California features a diverse array of media, including paintings, photographs, and other works on paper to paint a vivid portrait of California's farms and fields. Prominent artists featured in this exhibition include Jeannette Maxfield Lewis, Henry Gilpin, and Jim Kasson.
