Monterey Museum of Art Welcomes Military Families with Free Admission as a Blue Star Museum
MONTEREY, CA (MAY 29, 2025)—Monterey Museum of Art (MMA) is proud to once again participate in the National Endowment for the Arts' Blue Star Museums program. As a collaborative center where art and community engage, MMA is honored to continue its status as a Blue Star Museum and support active-duty military personnel and their families—including those in the National Guard and Reserve—by offering free admission from May 17 through September 1, 2025.
Blue Star Museums is a nationwide initiative led by the National Endowment for the Arts and Blue Star Families, in collaboration with the Department of Defense and museums across the country. The program provides free admission to military families, including those in the National Guard and Reserve.
The 2025 program began on Armed Forces Day, Saturday, May 17, and runs through Labor Day, Monday, September 1. For more information and to find other participating museums, visit the Blue Star Museums website.
