My paintings are not simply aesthetic explorations, not depictions, but illuminations of the tenuousness of the environment. I'm interested in the juxtaposition of resounding power vs. fragility, and the balance reflected in the natural world and cultivated terrain. The textural, distressed surfaces are intended to mirror this ephemeral quality.

Mis pinturas no son solo exploraciones bellas ni representaciones, sino revelaciones de la vulnerabilidad del ambiente. Me interesa la yuxtaposición entre el poder resonante y la fragilidad, además del equilibrio que se refleja en el mundo natural y el terreno de cultivo. Las superficies texturizadas y desgastadas buscan reflejar esta esencia efímera.
