[Monterey, CA] Art After Hours, the popular monthly social gathering designed to build community around art, convenes at the Monterey Museum of Art at 559 Pacific Street from 5-7 pm on Thursday, May 21, 2009. Enjoy live music by the Don Pendergrass Jazz Duo, great food, wine and conversation amidst the backdrop of the magnificent 50th Anniversary exhibition, Made in Monterey. Be sure to check out the new Discovery Spots throughout the exhibition for kids of all ages. The May Art After Hours is sponsored by Fenton & Keller. The event is catered by Chef Todd Food Concepts. The Made in Monterey exhibition is on view through October 25, 2009 at MMA Pacific Street. Made in Monterey is a sweeping exhibition of the most beloved and important works from the Museum’s permanent collection celebrating the painting, photography and contemporary art of California.
