Michael Furman has photographed the world’s most significant cars and beautiful details such as the automotive jewelry that define each marque’s identity. This exhibition consists of Furman’s photographs and close to thirty mascots (hood ornaments) from a private collection that lend an artistic perspective to an automobile’s presence. These figures provide a three-dimensional statement that gives insight into the manufacturer’s psyche. This exhibition is generously sponsored by Winfield Gallery and reflects the Museum’s participation in the Monterey Peninsula’s Auto Week.
