LIVING WITH ART
Since the late 19th century the Monterey Peninsula landscape has inspired artists and people from all over the world to make this area their home and source of inspiration. The exhibition Artists at Continent’s End: The Monterey Peninsula Art Colony provides us with magnificent insights into the birth of this area’s strong commitment to a lifestyle deeply connected with nature and art. To celebrate this inspiring heritage the Monterey Museum of Art will launch Living with Art. This series of programs for adults will include yoga, hands-on art workshops, cooking and nutrition, and hiking and sketching workshops. For more information and to register, please contact Val DeLang, director of education, at 831.372.5477 x24.
