Northern California Public Broadcasting (NCPB) is hosting a series of town hall meetings to discuss the merger and future plans of its stations KQED, KTEH, and KCAH. The audience will hear updates about programming, educational outreach, and community engagement. The attendees will be able to provide feedback and make suggestions regarding what they would like to see on their public broadcasting station.

Marcelle Polednik
Marcelle Polednik, MMA Director of Collections and Exhibitions, will speak about the compelling complexity of contemporary landscape photography. To reveal the truth within the landscape, photographers of the present day have had to find a way to mediate between the sometimes harsh realities of contemporary life and the romantic traditions of the genre.

Food for Thought is an excellent introduction to MMA for both newcomers and longtime visitors as an opportunity to learn more about exhibitions and programs. Guests are invited to bring their own lunch and curiosity to satisfy their hunger for art and conversation.

Kaleidoscope Kids Summer Camp

A special Museum day for the entire family, as we invite you to immerse yourself in artist Christel Dillbohner’s contemplative environments. Join us for an exciting visual journey of the artist’s landscapes and enjoy a musical performance with cellists Marie Sievey and Nancy Skei. Children and the young at heart will be invited to participate in the making of a Dillbohner-inspired installation led by local art educator Karen Welch, which will be floated on Lagunita Mirada.
