Pamela Carroll Realist Painter with Pamela Carroll

Pamela Carroll will share a visual review of her body of artwork. Beginning with a few early photorealist works in gouache on rag paper, and following her journey working in oils and from life. Pamela will also discuss her choices of subject matter and how she composes her art. She will also present some of her work that is currently on view at the Winfield Gallery and Carmel Art Association.

Pamela Carroll was born and raised in Southern California and is a self-taught artist.  She embraces the traditional focus of realism and has been influenced greatly by the early Dutch masters as well as contemporary realist painters of today.  She has been a dedicated artist for the majority of her adult life with the exception of a sixteen year hiatus during which her priority was motherhood.  Pam Carroll is currently a full time artist and paints daily.

Join us for a six-part lecture series about the diverse and wonderful art currently being made by artists in Central California. Local experts will be featured in one-hour lectures about their chosen subjects. Visitors are welcome to bring food and drinks during this lunchtime lecture series.
