The Monterey Museum of Art inspires appreciation of the evolving California artistic legacy and expands a passion for the visual arts.

The holdings of the Monterey Museum of Art encompasses several complementary collections, including Early California Painting (1875-1945);  American Art (1875-1945); Contemporary Art (1945-present); Photography and Asian Art.
