Museum Hopping with Reciprocal Memberships

Monterey’s Museum of Art’s Contributor Level, Donor Circle Level, and Supporter Level membership cards offer discounted or free access to several hundred reciprocal museums.

 

There are an estimated 55,000 museums around the world and about 35,000 of those museums are in the United States. All across the nation people visit museums for inspiration, knowledge, history, or to simply pass the time. The Monterey Museum of Art (MMA) has been inspiring visitors since 1959. Monterey Museum of Art’s Contributor Level Membership comes with two national reciprocal memberships, the North American Reciprocal Membership (NARM) and the Association of Children’s Museums (ACM). These reciprocal memberships provide discounted or free access to different museums all over the nation. The Supporter Level Membership and Donor Circle Membership Levels receive an additional reciprocal membership with the Reciprocal Organization of Associated Museums (ROAM).

The North American Reciprocal Membership (NARM), offers free admission to over 800 museums in North America. With so many institutions to choose from, you have options. Below you will find a list of a few exceptional museums included on the NARM list.
